Can I decorate the event space?
Absolutely! You're welcome to decorate the space and make it your own. To help us keep the space looking its best for every guest, we kindly ask that glitter, confetti, sparkles, or other loose materials not be used, as they can be difficult to clean and may damage our spaces. Please do not put holes in the walls or use nails, tacks, or staples to hang decorations. When attaching décor to the walls, painter's tape is the only tape permitted.
Can I come in the night before my event to decorate?
Yes! If the space is not booked the night before, you are welcome to come in and decorate ahead of time. Please check with our team in advance so we can confirm availability.
Can I take anything off the walls to decorate?
Yes, you may remove wall décor or other items as needed for your event, provided everything is put back exactly as it was when you are finished.
Can I bring in my own cake or cupcakes?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own cake or cupcakes for your celebration. Please note that any other outside food must be approved by management in advance.
Do you offer a children's price for buffets?
Yes! We offer special pricing for children, based on the $45 per person buffet: ages 6 to 12 are $25, and children under 5 are free.
Do you provide an event planner or wedding decorator?
We do not provide an event planner or decorator. However, our team will work with you to coordinate the details of your event at Rustic Kitchen + Bar, and we're happy to answer questions and help wherever we can.
What linens are included?
Our standard linens include white tablecloths and black napkins. Looking for a different colour? We can arrange to order alternate colours of tablecloths or napkins for your event. The additional cost will be the responsibility of the client.
Can we bring in our own liquor?
Unfortunately, outside liquor is not permitted due to our liquor licence and AGLC regulations. However, we'd be happy to provide full bar service for your event, with a selection of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails available for your guests to enjoy.
Do you offer catering?
Catering may be available depending on our staffing levels and how busy the restaurant is. Please call or text Chef Chris Orchard at 403-928-4258 with your event details. He will be happy to discuss what may be possible for your event.
If we order a plated dinner or set menu, do children have to have the same meal?
Not at all! Children under 12 can choose from our kids' menu for $12 per meal instead of having the plated dinner or set menu. Our kids' options include chicken fingers, pasta, and cheeseburgers, so there's something for even our pickiest little guests!
